ARCHITECTURE
弊社山荘は、奈良国立博物館新館、京都俵屋旅館なども手掛ける
世界的建築家の吉村順三氏によるもの。
吉村順三設計の軽井沢の「小さな森の家」シリーズの1軒であり、現存するのは吉村本人の山荘と、当山荘の2軒だけである。
Our villa is designed by world-renowned architect Junzo Yoshimura, who also designed the new building of the Nara National Museum and the Tawaraya Ryokan in Kyoto.

It is one of a series of "small forest houses" in Karuizawa designed by Junzo Yoshimura, and only two of these houses, Yoshimura's villa and our villa, are still in existence.

JAPANESE-STYLE GARDEN
山荘まわりに大きく庭の敷地が広がっており、当敷地を存分に活かすため、国際ガーデニングショーの最高峰「英国チェルシーフラワーショー」で11回の金メダルを受賞した世界的庭園デザイナーである石原和幸がガーデニングを担当。
The garden grounds are spread out around the villa, and to take full advantage of the site, the gardening was designed by Kazuyuki Ishihara, a world-renowned garden designer who has won 11 gold medals at the Chelsea Flower Show in the UK, the pinnacle of international gardening shows.

TAKIBI
大正14（1925）年の7月から9月にかけて約3ヶ月間家族と共に滞在した軽井沢で毎晩、焚き火をたき、そこに群がる蛾を写生したり、採集した蛾を室内で写生したという速水御舟の代表作「炎舞」をイメージし、焚き火スペースを庭の中央に置き、炎を見ながらお茶をするなどの寛ぎの場を提供します。
The space is inspired by Hayami Goshu's masterpiece "Flame Dance," in which he built a bonfire every night in Karuizawa, where he stayed with his family for about three months from July to September in 1925, and sketched moths swarming around it or collected in the room.

CHERRY BLOSSOM
軽井沢という土地では、寒冷が原因で通常桜は咲かないのですが、福島県三春桜から培養した巨木を新たに植樹し、近隣エリア全体のシンボルツリーとなる。
Cherry trees do not usually bloom in Karuizawa due to the cold weather, but a new giant tree cultivated from the Miharu cherry tree in Fukushima Prefecture will be planted and become a symbolic tree for the entire neighborhood area.
